OMET has been designing and manufacturing printing and converting machines for the narrow and mid web industry since its foundation back in 1963.

OMET printing presses are characterised by strong product and process innovation, as well as the strictest reliability and quality standards and for the highest performances in terms of flexibility and ease of management, print quality and productivity, entirely in-line working cycle and reduced waste. Each machine in the Varyflex, XFlex and Flexy li-nes is worked out to be able to fulfil the specific needs of each customer: the design of each model is conceived in highly modular and versatile formats, which can be easily assembled in lines addressed towards specific applications with the addition of dedicated components and units.

OMET is a Group of five companies and manufacturing plants in Italy, with over 300 employees and growing steadily of a 10 percent in turnover since 2010. OMET world presence is guaranteed by three subsidiaries in the world following areas in strong growth like the Far East, (OMET Suzhou in China), Latin America (omet Ibérica, based in Spain) and Central and North America (OMET Americas in the US), and a large number of qualified international agents. The Machines business units of OMET are: Packaging Printing Machines following the label and Packaging market and Tissue Converting Machines. They have realized more than 1300 successful projects worldwide since their foundation in 1963. The other business units in OMET Group are: OMET Systems in Motion, producing rollers, motion systems and components for a wide range of industrial environments, O-Pac that manufactures wet wipes, and OMET Mechanical works.

The Packaging Printing Machines business unit of OMET is located in Lecco, Italy, 50 kilometers north of Milan in a 3,000 square meters area of which 2,000 square meters dedicated to production. The product portfolio of the Packaging Printing Machines unit includes: multitechnology, multi-product, and multiapplication narrow and mid web platform machines for labels and packaging printing, plus complementary services including ancillary equipment, consultancy and accurate pre and postsales service programs.
